Torque Plugin for Perodua cars

This is a Torque plugin for Malaysian made Perodua cars, particularly older cars which does not support generic OBD protocols. Read real time data, read error codes.!! (note that this version is limited to 1.3 litre engines, future updates will cover 1.5litre engines soon.!)

This is the free version with limited sensors/parameters and features. More parameters (a lot more..!) and features are available in the paid version, soon to be released. Make sure you watch this space...!

Prerequisite:

1. This is a Torque plugin. You need to get Torque installed in your device. This plugin will NOT work alone. Also, make sure you use later versions of Torque. Torque with too old version would not be supported.

2. You need ELM327 compliant adapter. Make sure you do not use ELM327 version 2.1 which does not support k-line communications. Get adapters confirmed to work from me or from ahmad hamidon (you can get it from http://bit.ly/obd2malaysia ).

3. Please also make sure you follow the instruction below. And make sure connection to ECU is OK before scan error, erase error or check the status to avoid app crashes.

Important notes..!

Later versions of android, for saving battery life, there is phone setting to stop apps from starting automatically. Please ensure you have set this plugin to autostart. The same thing will need to be done if you have autostart manager in your device.

Typically, the settings are in battery settings of the device.

Installation procedures:

New vehicles with new engine such as Axia does not require any setup. Vehicles with older engines are supported by this plugin and requires special setup as below:

1. This plugin requires full access to OBD device. Check the 'Allow plugin full access' in Settings --> Plugins

2. For 1.3 litre engines or smaler, create a new vehicle profile in Torque. Under Menu, select 'Vehicle Profile'. then click 'create new profile'...,

3. Name the profile 'PERODUA1.3'. Scroll to the bottom and click 'Show advance settings'

4. Scroll to the bottom. For 1.3 litre engines, in 'Preferred OBD Protocol' select 'ISO 14230(fast init,10.4baud)'

5. Click 'Save'"

6. For 1.5 litre engines, it is under testing and not yet supported in this published version, it will be soon..! Watch this space..!

7. Create another vehicle profile and name it 'Blank' scroll to the bottom and 'Save'. Do not put any advanced settings

8. Select the correct Perodua vehicle profile you created earlier everytime you want scan by tapping on Menu --> 'Vehicle Profile'-->select the ones that you created. For other vehicles, use the 'Blank' profile.

9. Create custom PIDs from Settings --> Manage extra PID/Sensors --> tap settings and select 'Add predefined set'. Select 'Perodua PIDs

10. Create displays in 'Realtime Information' by tapping Realtime Information --> go to empty page -->tap menu --> Add display -->pick your meter type --> Select PIDs that start with {PERODUA}.

11. Make sure you go to this page every time you want to use Perodua cars. Otherwise, Torque wouldn't connect to your ECU. You may need to wait for a while at this page for Torque to connect to your car

12. Now you are ready to use the Torque for scanning your car.

هذا هو البرنامج المساعد عزم الدوران للسيارات Perodua جعل الماليزية، وخاصة السيارات القديمة التي لا تدعم البروتوكولات OBD العامة. قراءة البيانات في الوقت الحقيقي، وقراءة رموز الخطأ. !! (لاحظ أن هذا الإصدار يقتصر على 1.3 لتر محركات، سوف التحديثات المستقبلية تغطي محركات 1.5litre قريبا.!)

المتطلبات المسبقة:

1. هذا هو البرنامج المساعد عزم الدوران. كنت بحاجة للحصول على عزم الدوران مثبت في جهازك. فإن هذا البرنامج المساعد لا يعمل وحده. أيضا، تأكد من استخدام الإصدارات الأحدث من عزم الدوران. أن عزم الدوران مع نسخة قديمة جدا لا يكون معتمدا.

2. تحتاج ELM327 محول متوافقة. تأكد من أنك لا تستخدم ELM327 الإصدار 2.1 والذي لا يعتمد الاتصالات K- خط. الحصول على محولات أكد للعمل مني أو من أحمد حمدون (يمكنك الحصول عليه من http://bit.ly/obd2malaysia).

3. يرجى أيضا تأكد من اتباع التعليمات التالية. والتأكد من اتصال ECU على ما يرام قبل الخطأ المسح، ومحو خطأ أو التحقق من حالة لتجنب تعطل التطبيق.

ملاحظات هامة..!

الإصدارات الأحدث من الروبوت، لإنقاذ حياة البطارية، وهناك وضع الهاتف لوقف التطبيقات من بدء التشغيل تلقائيا. يرجى التأكد من وضعت هذا البرنامج المساعد لتسغيل. سوف تحتاج إلى القيام به إذا كان لديك مدير تشغيل تلقائي في جهازك الشيء نفسه.

عادة، الإعدادات في إعدادات البطارية من الجهاز.

إجراءات التثبيت:

السيارات الجديدة مع المحرك الجديد مثل AXIA لا يتطلب أي برنامج الإعداد. يتم دعم المركبات ذات المحركات القديمة من هذا البرنامج المساعد ويتطلب إعداد خاص على النحو التالي:

3. اسم الشخصية "PERODUA1.3. انتقل إلى أسفل وانقر على "إظهار إعدادات مسبقة"

4. انتقل إلى أسفل. 1.3 لتر محركات في "المفضلة بروتوكول OBD 'اختيار' ISO 14230 (الحرف الأول سريع، 10.4baud)"

5. انقر على "حفظ"

6. بالنسبة لمحركات 1.5 لتر، وهي تحت الاختبار وغير معتمدة حتى الان في هذه النسخة المنشورة، وسوف يكون قريبا ..! انظر لهذه المساحة..!

7. إنشاء ملف التعريف سيارة أخرى وتسميته 'فارغ' انتقل إلى أسفل و'حفظ'. لا تضع أي الإعدادات المتقدمة

8. حدد ملف تعريف المركبة Perodua الصحيح قمت بإنشائها سابقا في كل مرة كنت تريد مسح عن طريق النقر على القائمة -> 'الملف سيارات "-> اختر منها الذي قمت بإنشائه. لغيرها من المركبات، واستخدام البيانات الشخصية "فارغ".

9. خلق PIDS مخصصة من إعدادات -> إدارة PID / مجسات إضافية -> إعدادات الصنبور واختر "اضافة مجموعة معرفة مسبقا. اختر 'Perodua PIDS

10. خلق يعرض في "معلومات في الوقت الفعلي من خلال الاستفادة من المعلومات في الوقت الحقيقي -> انتقل إلى صفحة فارغة -> القائمة الحنفية -> إضافة عرض -> اختيار نوع المقياس -> اختر PIDS التي تبدأ مع {PERODUA}.

11. تأكد من أن تذهب إلى هذه الصفحة في كل مرة كنت تريد استخدام السيارات Perodua. وإلا، فإن عزم الدوران تقم بتوصيل إلى ECU الخاص بك. قد تحتاج إلى الانتظار لفترة من الوقت في هذه الصفحة لعزم الدوران للاتصال سيارتك

12. أنت الآن على استعداد لاستخدام عزم الدوران لفحص سيارتك.
